The Intel Core Ultra 9 285K is a 24-core desktop processor made for systems that are expected to stay fast even when they are pushed hard. It fits LGA 1851 socket motherboards and uses Intel’s Hybrid Core Architecture, combining eight 3.7 GHz Performance-cores for heavy workloads with 16 low-voltage Efficient-cores that handle background tasks, while Intel Thread Director works with the operating system to distribute all 24 threads as usage changes. The processor includes 36 MB of cache, boosts up to 5.6 GHz with Turbo Boost Max 3.0, and can briefly reach 5.7 GHz through Thermal Velocity Boost when temperature and power limits allow, with full support for manual overclocking. It supports up to 192 GB of dual-channel DDR5 memory at 6400 MHz, provides PCI Express 4.0 and PCI Express 5.0 connectivity with a total of 24 lanes, and includes integrated Intel Graphics.
